Its A Rare Possibility

Ugh, I really have to stop doing these week-long fan art pieces.

However, this is one submission that I have been meaning to do for a long time, dedicated to one of my favourite video-game series ever, and the only one I was able to fully complete when I was 12.

Banjo-Kazooie & Tooie were two of those games that always scared me back then, but I couldn't get enough of them because they were so enjoyable! Though many of Rare's titles like DK64 used to freak me out for different reasons as well. So like any other fan of the series I too was somewhat disappointed about Nuts & Bolts and that Rare is now having to think of ideas for Microsoft's Avatars. Truth to be told, Nuts & Bolts wasn't that bad to me. Mind you, I'm one of those creative types that would enjoy that type of gameplay.

Now, the only way I can see a game series like this coming back is either A. Rare hires a new team to build upon the old BK team and create a new game themselves, or B. Allow another studio like Retro Studios to borrow the rights to the series and make a game for the creators.

Of course, neither one of these solutions are going to happen. Maybe. . .
