'The Shy Yoshi'

Field ability: Lets Mario ride her to gain more ground, and press B to have her use her tongue to not only eat large fruit that act as roadblocks, but also grab out-of-reach items and activate switches.

“A female Yoshi girl that is introduced to Mario by the Yoshi from Glitzville's Glitz Pit. According to him, the two Yoshis met each other when he visited Isle Delfino and found her during a fighting tournament, and since then they went into a relationship. Due to her being so nervous in very crowded & fast paced environments, she is considered to be the character with the least dialogue, usually expressing herself through battling than talking. She joins Mario to help him fight a sub-boss and is the partner that reaches objects from a distance."

Attacks:
Hip Drop – Harshly damages an enemy by ground pounding it from a high altitude.

Slurp 5FP – Eats, then spits out an enemy, removing its defence power completely for a limited time.

Juice Column 3FP – Allows Mario to recover 5 FP at the end of every turn by putting him inside a small pillar of fruit juice for a limited time.

Jet Stream 6FP – Releases a powerful torrent of fruit juice that attacks all enemies and has a 8/10 chance of lowering their defense power for a limited time.

Yes I know its nearly the exact same partner as the Yoshi from PM2, but like the Goomba, it should be a tradition for mario to have a Yoshi as an ally in the Paper Mario series like in the other Mario games. Plus, I would rather have Yoshi over Birdo anyhow.

(heck, I even reference the most obvious colour scheme for the PM2 Yoshi with this one )
