HAPPY NEW YEARS AND WHATNOT TO ALL OF YOU! :bademoticon:
To reflect on 2015, I guess its been an alright year. A few ups & downs here & there to be sure, especially with the real life events that have been happening since before Halloween. Positively speaking, I was able to keep my new years resolution after all though, that I successfully made an animation in the form of a gif without any hitches! And if you haven't seen it yet you should - its adorable.
However, there were many other things I wanted to create that I haven't even been able to start on yet; long overdue portfolio pieces and original content being one of them. I'm really hoping this will be the year that my productivity will be improved, and one of the biggest reasons is the start of my personal commissions. Many times I've started that I will start commissions of my own someday and I aim to do so this year, but since it'll be a first for me on this site its left me nervous about making a good first impression on how expensive I should make myself, since I know I'm not really one of the greatest artist on DA.
Because, I'll be honest - if I was, I'd be a lot faster.
Regardless, MANY things to look forward too in the upcoming month, and they are as follows -
I should also mention to all those who bother to watch my half-active page, cheers to you guys for being so patient with me. Shift work has been an extreme time eater for me during December (sometimes not for the best reasons), and I do want to vent some frustration of my own in the form of more fan art on this site. Got to entertain somehow. Oh, and I've also decided to finally update my watermark for the new year to make it more professional, stylized, and more like a signature of sorts. You'll see it in my latest upload.
With that said, hope everyone had a fantastic new years, and heres to bigger & better stuff for 2016!

Commissions will be starting very soon, as I've almost completed my price chart. Reason its taking me so long to post it is because I'm making it interactive! You'll see what I mean once its uploaded. Also making sure that my base prices are reasonable, after researching how other artist do paid commissions. I think I have a good enough grasp on how I should sell my work.
I plan to start a Twitter page sometime in the near future as well, but I do wish to hear from you guys if its worth making an account for. Originally I wished to use it as a branch for people outside of DA to order commissions from me, but I'm unsure if Twitter will be the best place to advertise something like that. I was told Instagram would be a better option due to its picture sharing so I'm putting that into consideration for now.
This is the year I plan to also start expanding my art styles. While designing art for projects like Fiona Frightening are still gonna keep me busy, Portfolio related pieces will be a bit more apparent on my page in the form of original characters, and possibly 3D renders in general. Have to practice some more on it though so it'll be quite some time still before I can present that kind of art.

Figuring Things Out and Youtube Video Re-uploads
Looks like Eclipse took over, huh? Guess that'll be another thing I'll have to get used to now. Hey everyone, long time no message! Had to take a long break from social media of any sort for a while due to having a rough start to this now-difficult year, as well as trying to get stuff done behind the scenes. Which at the moment, has STILL been plaguing my efforts to create content on an actual regular pace. Honestly, the discouragement expressed in my latest sketch from a few months ago seems to represent a lasting weight that I haven't completely shake off yet. XP Nevertheless, new pieces are on the way, as I did some more staff content for Dr Crafty that will be shown soon. Along with some belated gifts for friends and personal works that I really want to finish & upload. In the meantime however, as a means of trying to expand in different areas, my most-recent personal projects involved more video editing work, as I decided to revise & repost the two videos I have over on my
Birthday Wishes and... Youtube?!
Many thanks for all the Birthday wishes folks! I certainly appreciate it this year, after the events that happened to me and my family mid August. Had the most amount of people gathered for the occasion for the first time in years, and I'm super grateful that my otherwise small family isn't as small as I thought it was.
But as the title for this journal may suggest, I have some important news to share:
Thats right viewers, my Palutena's Guidance What-if for Banjo & Kazooie if finally finished, and can now be watched on my newly-made Youtube page! Be sure to like, give feedback on how I can improve, and spread it around to sh
Not Dead! But Not Back Yet (update)
EDIT: 07/10/2019
Holy Moly talk about a busy bundle of months. Haven't been able to post anything worthwhile in a pretty long time, but hopefully that'll change once August rolls around. For the time being, if the title change hasn't made it obvious, I come bearing info that should explain where I've been, and what I have in store for this year:
Firstly, commissions will unfortunately be closed for a while longer, as I still need to update my commission chart with new prices. Believe me when I say that I do want to start making them again now with the newfound knowledge I've gained this year so far, as I can tell that a few of you want
Birthday Wishes? Ya' Shouldn't Have!
Apologies for the late response folks, but man - to all those who took the time to not only wish me the happiest of Birthdays, but also to the handful that made gift art for me this year, Many thanks to you all! The fact that people still come to see my drawings, concepts, and characters, despite me being admittedly sporadic with uploads and updates, gives me the drive I always need to continue making content. ^_^
Although speaking of content, something I've got going on behind the scenes that I can present to show my gratitude is this -
Over on my Twitter page, these images took off like crazy, especially for a following of my size

Happy New Year Blue-Paint-Sea!
I too need to improve my productivity. My other resolutions are to be more patient, more persistent, more organised and faster-paced.
